My First Day in Lockdown
My First Day in Lockdown
On the first day of lock down it was a very uneventful day, in the morning my Dad and Me went for a 2k walk, on the walk we say a miner go down to cut some firewood, (*cough* they lived in dobson *cough*). Then we went and split a tree upp that had fallen down a few weeks ago (we had chopped it into small blocks the day before). After that we came home and I started on my new project: making things from off cuts! And my Dad put up a hydroponic system in one of our tunnel-houses. After that we went for another 2k walk to get the newspaper, on our way down we saw 3 trucks go down even though it's level 4! And we say 2 vans of tourists go past on the main road and we say a 3rd go and stop with some kayak and prosee to start kayaking through a farm. And that was that day done.

fibonacci
today i learnt about fibonacci. to be honest i don't really understand it to well. I drew flowers in my book ( Up there, /\ ), i also attempted to draw a dragon wing. All that i know is that: it occurs all over nacher, and that it contains fibonacci numbers, witch are 5,8,13,21 ect. when drawing somthing that uses fibonacci you times the number by 1.6.

Sailing
yesterday i went sailing with my class. prior to this i had never learnt to sail, so this was a very new to me. when we got there the instructor (Simon) told us how set up the boat, and we started sailing. i was buried with kaio. since it was a new thing to me it was very scary to start, but after i got the hang of being in a plastic box, in the middle of 7 km lake infested with eals, trout, and lampreys, i was ok. For most of the time i was the ruder-man, we went out then did some circles. then we played water-ball, you play by throwing a ball to the other boats, ever boat has to touch the ball, then you have to get it back to simon's boat. then we started to take on water so we got a tow back to shore. it was fun but scary.

Pendulum art report
Pendulum art science report
Aim: We are trying to create art using a pendulum, do do this you would normally fill with paint or flour or something.Hypothesis: We hoped and thought we would go three different patterns (because we created a special pendulum) that would be based off each other.
Method:
- First we found a sturdy stick (around half a metre in length) and attached a string to it’s centre of gravity.
- Then we got a cardboard cup and attached it directly under the stick (were the string is).
- Next we get two more pieces of string one short one long and we attached them to either side of the stick
- Then we got to more cups and attached them to the ends of the string.
- Lastly we poked holes in the bottoms of the cups and strung the top string to a high place (we used a tree)
Concloton:
First we tried it with paint. We discovered that the holes in the cups were not big enough and so mid test we enlarged them but the surface tension of the watered down paint only allowed it to drip. Next we tried it with flour but the wind blew it everywhere. After that athe contraption broke. If we were to continue we should replace the cups with funnels to allow the substance to flow better.
Miranda Jane art
This is my art that I made, for the tearm we have been looking at Miranda Jane's art, and we have made our own. Mine is some moutons and felds with a sunrise. This other art is Miranda Jane's, it's of some moutons and a lake, I think i did well with mimking the plack line, exsept I think she defently used more coulers.
